Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong signs new contract with Gent till 2018

Nigeria national team defender William Troost-Ekong has extended his contract with Belgian club Gent till 2018. The central Super Eagles defender had been linked with possible moves to a number of teams in England in the summer transfer market including Crystal Palace, Swansea City, Norwich City and Brigthon & Hove Albion but he has committed his future to Genk till 2018.

Posting on Instagram, the half Nigerian, half Dutch said 'New contract KAA Gent.'
