LASUQUEENSCONNECT: PAST AND PRESENT QUEENS OF LASU CONNECT

Coming up with the idea of bringing past and present Queens of Lagos State University together is one very nice idea placed and brought up by Willywears and Olympic media.
It’s a collection work of both brands in partnership with Apparel by Pearl, Lihanna Fashion House and makeup done by Beauty Bank and also having the support of Everything Fashion NG.

LASU QUEENS CONNECT is actually not just connecting the queens but also connecting them with students of the Lagos State University and also to the outside world.

QUEEN AJOKE BADMUS MISS LASU 2012 

Still looking beautiful and gallant, MISS LASU 2012 which till today she’s the most talked about queen in LASU. As you all know her to be QUEEN AJOKE BADMUS. She is a graduate of LASU, proudly graduated with a second class upper division from the department of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management faculty of management science.

She participated in the MISS LASU 2012 as a result of her friend’s encouragement as she said and she’s so happy she could impact and affect the school and its environments positively by carrying out some community activities with the help of her manager who was then social director and also sulcata ent who then organized the pageantry in LASU.

During her reign as MISS LASU in 2012 she carried out the BREAST CANCER AWEARESS and SAY NO TO CULTISM program which have the support of the then former speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, vice chancellor and deputy vice chancellor. She also didn’t leave out the motherless children.

She also gave out her advice also to everyone out there to be very diligent and hard working because anything worth doing at all is worth doing well.

QUEEN MARIAH FADERERA OMOSOWOENI MISS LASU 2013

Her name is Mariah Faderera Omosowoeni, but people call her Olori Miles. Repping Faculty of education department of English presently in her 4^th year. She’s is the MISS LASU 2013 and her own case was different. Not being pushed by a friend or course mate but wanted to have fun that why she obtained the form then in 2013. Winning the crown to her head then was a thing of happiness to her as she feel fulfilled because she have dreamt of been a beauty queen so been the queen of LASU was a dream come through.

As MISS LASU she claims to have being interesting for her having to affect life of students and meeting prominent people. During her reign her pet project was war against drug abuse. She also claims to have her own foundation which is Olori Faderea Foundation which she use in helping people at large and also visit the orphanage home frequently. She also said she give writing materials to young academia.

She also didn’t deny the fact that being a queen is fun but also include that it’s stressful. Further said that it’s fun to be center of attraction and stress that you live your life for the public.

In the next 5 years she get to see herself as a happily married wife and a blessed mother and of course her foundation bigger and better and a successful entrepreneur.

She also advice LASUITES  at large to be focused , keep the good work flying and try to elevate the image of LASU outside so people can know that they aren’t touts. And also learn to put God first in everything.

QUEEN OLADIPUPO TEMITOPE SARAH MISS LASU 2014

Oladipupo Temitope Sarah studying microbiology in her 4^th year under the faculty of science she also participated in the MISS LASU 2014 due to encouragement from friends especially Oyindamola her best friend. Though surpised she won and worn the crown but still give glory to God for making her the Queen of LASU in the year 2014.

She said she have tried to give back to the school and community at large by organizing a breast and cervical cancer awareness campaign in Ikeja where about 200 students and staff where screened for breast cancer free which specialist came to talk about breast and cervical cancer to an audience of over 400 students and staff. Also organizing a talent hunt for students in music and dance category where winners emerged and were awarded alongside branded shirts, pen, wrist watch and other materials were distributed to all the audience. She also renovated and beautifies the LASU shuttle stand at iba gate, constructed a LASU map locator in partnership with TECNO Nigeria likewise distributed food and gift items including mosquito nets to Arrow of God orphanage home. She appreciated all of her friends for the successful journey as a Queen in LASU especially the love of her heart, brahim. Also appreciating Queen Faderera, Queen ajoke, Adeife, olasunkanmi, habib and all that she remembers but cant mention.

Queen Temitope in the next five years wants to see herself happily married with kids and also done with her masters but probably be doing her PhD and running an NGO to cater for the less privileged and orphans.

She advice all students is to put God first in everything they do and study hard and also to think outside the box and shun any form of indiscipline and obey the school rules and regulations.

QUEEN IDOWU OLUWATOMISIN MBGLASU 2014

Still a student of the great lagos state university, presently in her 4^thyear studying history and international studies under the faculty of arts. Her name is Idowu oluwatomisin but most of her friends called Queen Thomie.

She came in to contest at the MBGLASU2014 with the support of family and friends and she also see it as a platform for her to officially start her modeling career which she has passion for. Been the winner Most Beautiful Girl in LASU 2014 was a thing of joy and excitement for her and during her reign it have being fun and challenging. Meeting people was the best part for her and it has influenced her in a way she really appreciated.

Queen Thomie embarked on two major projects which was “Say No to Rape” and “Project Clothe the Slum” at Makoko which she find fun but stressful though. And she said being a Queen hasn’t affected her academically.

She didn’t forget to advice her fellow students to follow the definition of LIFE, which is LIVE, INSPIRE, FORGIVE and ENJOY.

QUEEN SMITH OLUWABUKOLA JADESOLA MISS LASU 2015

The latest MISS LASU queen, name to be Smith Oluwabukola Jadesola which also love to be called Jadie. She’s presently in her 3^rdyear studying Microbiology in the faculty of Science.

She contested for the pageantry MISS LASU with the support of her friends and also want to use her position to do some innovation and revolution in the school as a queen. She also said that when she emerg winner of MISS LASU 2015, she was blank at first ad didn’t know whether she was crying or laughing because she was overwhelmed. She also said as a queen she haven’t run out of the box yet as she follow all instructions given to her and also putting her best to be that queen people will look up to.

Queen jadie, who in the next 5 years see herself as a super and successful beauty queen and (face) model having so many titles attached to it career and academics. She also said being MISS LASU is just a stepping stone for her. Not putting her academic career aside want to be a renowned medical Microbiogist and running my second degree in Medicine and surgery.

She didn’t also forget to advice her loved once, the greatest LASUITES to always put up the best behavior, promote the great institution academically, socially and morally and also not to misuse any opportunity they have or are given and always put in their best effort in all they do because what is worth doing at all is what doing well.
